Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Advisor will be responsible for generating and managing sales leads, qualifying opportunities, and presenting tailored solutions to potential trucking industry clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the trucking industry. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

– Identify and generate new sales leads specifically within the trucking industry through calls, site visits, industry events, and referrals.

– Enter and manage leads in the Opportunity Pipeline, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

– Prioritize leads based on their potential to result in new business.

– Develop and customize Value Proposition Presentations tailored to the needs of trucking industry clients.

– Present proposals to Decision Makers, emphasizing the benefits and ROI of our IT and data analytics services.

– Guide Opportunities through various Sales Stages, including Lead, Qualification, Value Proposition, Proposal, Address Challenges, Contracting, and Startup.

– Address and resolve Customer objections and challenges in coordination with Business Owners.

– Coordinate Startup Calls with the Customer Service Team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.

– Maintain regular communication with customers for at least three months after service initiation to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.

– Leverage customer feedback to generate new leads and refine sales strategies. Qualifications:

– 5 years of experience in the trucking industry–customer service, planning, driver management, shop management, safety or accounting.

– Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.

– Capable of editing professional customer presentations using Canva.

– Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.

– Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

– Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Compensation:

Compensation:

-$50K / year base salary plus unlimited commission (no caps)
